Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit launches ‘#MakeTheWorldDance’ line dance contest

MUMBAI – Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit is ready to cheer on fans with a line dancing contest called “#MakeTheWorldDance” on her “Dance With Madhuri” line dancing platform.

The essence of the competition is to share the joy of dancing by having everyone dance, “as if no one was watching”, except of course the jury. The overall winner will receive a cash prize of Rs 12,000 and the runner-up will win an amount of Rs 8,000. All runners-up will receive certificates of participation digitally signed by Madhuri and a free one-month DWM subscription. The contest will start on December 23, 2021 and end on January 9, 2022.

The contest rules are simple; play along to any song of your choice and submit the dance video to the DWM website. The deadline to submit the performance video will be January 3, 2022.

Dixit said, “We want everyone to end the year on a high. 2021 has been tough for all of us, let’s enter 2022 with laughter, love and dancing. What could be better than dancing to celebrate happiness? I can’t wait to see you participate”

The result of qualified contestants for the grand final will be posted on DWM’s campaign page by January 5, 2022. The shortlisted 6 finalists will have the chance to perform on a particular song requested by DWM in front of judges live online on Jan. 9, 2022, and the winners will be announced on DWM’s Instagram and Facebook handles the very next day.
