Rehearsal review

Presentation on stage

There are some choreographic highlights with the accompanying group of dancers through Sekret, but there is also a contemporary dancer working with Ronela through the second verse. It’s certainly a very sexy performance – it makes sense given the lyrics. Lots of styling towards the end too, and the LEDs are pink and blue all over with hints of red. The final pass saw pyro added throughout with smoke cannons being used.

Costumes and styling

Ronela changed her costume for this rehearsal, as expected.

She’s wearing a pastel pink flowy dress with a rhinestone bodysuit similar to Anxhela last year, and she’s also wearing the Dr. Martens rainbow unicorn today – we don’t know if these will be her outfit shoes. stage !

Voice quality

As throughout the pre-party season, Ronela sounds absolutely perfect for today’s rehearsal and the pre-recorded backing vocals back her up through the bridge and chorus. Every pass was on point.

To help balance singing and choreography, Ronela has a wireless mic, giving her complete flexibility to perform the song but also sing comfortably without a handheld microphone.

General impression

It’s an energetic start to this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. There’s a really nice engagement from Ronela with the audience – she ad-libs to thrill the audience in the room at the start – and the pyros really give that a strong impact.
