Star New Zealand Batter Devon Conwaywhich is part of Chennai Super Kings side in the current edition of the Indian Premier League, was seen dancing to a popular Tamil song, “Arabic Kuthu”, in a recent video shared by the franchise’s official Instagram account on Saturday. In the video, Conway, who made his Test debut for the Kiwis in 2021 against England at Lord’s and scored 200 in his first innings, was also seen sporting the traditional dhoti and dancing alongside teammates N Jagadeesan etc Hari Nishanth.

The four-time winners captioned the video, “It’s #Arabickuthu time for Kiwi and Kovai.” The 30-year-old Kiwi striker was signed for Rs 1 crore in the mega auction and made his debut for the defending champions in the team’s opening game against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on 26 March.

But the left-handed hitter had a giddy debut, where he only managed to score 3 of 8 balls and was sent home by Umesh Yadav in the fifth. It was his only appearance in the tournament so far as he was dropped for the team’s second match against the Lucknow Super Giants, where veteran Robin Uthappa was promoted to the top and he sealed the spot scoring a fifty.
