The DHiE (Deccan Herald in Education) inter-school group dance competition for Zone B took place on Saturday at St Joseph’s Boy High School.

In the junior group, RNS Vidyaniketan, Vijayanagar, won the first prize. The second prize was won by the Sree Ayappa Education Center (State) and the third by the Regency Public School.

Whether it was revisiting the retro era or presenting a high octane performance in homage to Karnataka, the students did their best.

The winners of the second prize of the senior group who gave rhythm to the 80s disco songs gave an extremely enjoyable performance.

Students from Little Angels Public School performed a free dance representing the rich culture and traditions of Karnataka. Senior group first prize winners Delhi Public School, North performed a folk dance.

The audience marveled at the ease and perfection with which the students put on the whole show. The winners of the painting, short story writing, quiz, spelling and group dance competitions also received prizes.
