Emma Dissses Ronda Rousey’s Dance Moves

Emma made her return to WWE on the October 28, 2022, edition of “WWE SmackDown”, taking over and responding to Ronda Rousey’s open challenge for the “SmackDown” Women’s Championship. However, she found herself on the losing end – tapping Rousey after nearly seven minutes of action after Rousey attacked Emma’s eyes.

Upon Emma’s entrance, Rousey attempted to mock Emma and dance like she did in “NXT” and her first main roster run. Emma took Twitter to discuss Rousey’s moves: “Glad to see @RondaRousey is a huge fan of Emma…Unfortunately she’s a worse dancer than me 🤣” This was Emma’s first time back in a ring from the WWE since its release in 2017, which happened after she found herself going short in Asuka’s second main event on “Raw.” She wrestled outside of WWE after her release from the company under her real name, Tenille Dashwood, and found success both in and out of the ring. On the inside, she notably won the Impact Knockouts Tag Team Championships alongside Madison Rayne as a team known as The Influence. The pair held the titles for 106 days and successfully defended them three times before losing the belts to Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie.

Outside of the ring, Emma and Madcap Moss began a real-life relationship, with the two stars now part of the “SmackDown” brand after being on “NXT” at the same time. Emma and Paige, now known as Saraya in AEW, were two of the first women given a lot of time to wrestle in “NXT,” which would ultimately lead to an evolution of women in the business. Despite her best efforts, Emma reportedly didn’t have a chance to win championship gold in her first run with WWE.
