Jackson State football is coming off the best year in program history in Deion Sanders’ first fall season with the Tigers. As Coach Prime prepares his team for their second full season at the helm, he’s making sure they have a lot of fun.

If there’s one thing to know about Sanders, it’s that he loves going downhill. His “Primetime Shuffle” is one of the most famous dances in professional sports and his rookies celebrate his celebration alongside him.

Although Coach Prime didn’t get in on the action on Tuesday, he asked his team to break it down after spring training. The Tigers separated by group position and faced off in an incredibly lit dance battle.

They absolutely went after it with fancy feet and groovy beats. Among the stars, watch for the following performances:

  • 6-foot-3, 330-pound defensive lineman Rufus Carl Jones with the wiggles.
  • 6-foot-2, 225-pound linebacker Aubrey Miller Jr. hit the wide spread.

From quarterbacks to defensive backs to the Big Uglies up front, everyone took turns in the circle and went crazy. Looked:

Obviously, Tigers are enjoying life right now. After arriving at a brand new, state-of-the-art team facility after an 11-win season, how could you not? !

As long as Coach Prime is in charge, Jackson State will keep dancing.
