SALT LAKE CITY –New Utah Jazz guard Malik Beasley showed some dance moves late in the fourth quarter after hitting a big three-pointer against the Nuggets.
Denver was making a comeback against the Jazz when Malik Beasley punched in a three-pointer to extend their lead to 111-98 with 4:51 remaining in the game. Beasley started dancing when he hit that three, which caused the Nuggets to call a timeout. The new Jazz guard racked up 15 points and five rebounds off the bench while shooting 5 of 12 from the field and 3 of 9 from the three-point line.

New faces on the jazz season-opening roster
Kelly Olynik- Tenth-year center was trade-acquired Bojan Bogdanovic from the Detroit Pistons and started every game for the Jazz during the preseason.
Malik Beasley– The seventh-year guard joined the Jazz in the Rudy Gobert and figures as an important part of the team’s offense, although he missed the team’s last two preseason games with a sprained ankle.
Lauri Markkanen– The sixth-year forward was acquired by the Jazz in the trade for Donovan Mitchell and led the team in scoring during the preseason with 16.5 points per game.
Collin Sexton– The fifth-year guard was acquired by the Jazz in a sign-and-trade deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for Mitchell, and will earn $71 million over the next four seasons.
Jarred Vanderbilt – The fifth-year forward was acquired by the Jazz in a trade from Gobert and played an important role in the rotation during the preseason.
Talen Horton Tucker – The fourth-year forward was traded to the Jazz by the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Patrick Beverley and was part of the team’s second unit during the preseason.
Leandro Bolmaro – The second-year guard was acquired in the trade from Gobert and was rarely used during the preseason, but made the roster over Jared Butler.
Micah Potter – The second-year center signed a two-way deal with the Jazz, but didn’t play in any preseason games.
Ochai Agbaji – The rookie winger was acquired in the Mitchell trade from the Cavaliers after being selected with the 14th pick in the NBA Draft in June.
Simone Fontecchio – The Italian rookie forward joined the Jazz over the summer and played sparingly in pre-season despite being the team’s only true free agent.
Johnny Juzang– The rookie signed a two-way deal with the Jazz on draft night after being unselected from UCLA.
Walker Kesler- The rookie center was acquired in the trade from Gobert and was the Jazz’s most promising freshman in each of four preseason games.
