Man City defender Oleksandr Zinchenko honestly rates Chelsea, calling the club “one of the best”
The Ukraine international put in an impressive performance in both rounds of the semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain, playing a vital role in keeping Neymar and Kylian Mbappe at bay.
When asked About what it means to be in the Champions League final, Oleksandr Zinchenko said it wasn’t even something he could dream of as a kid growing up with a love for the game.
The 24-year-old explained: “I couldn’t even dream as a kid that one day I could be in the Champions League final. But dreams come true and everyone is so excited about it. “
“We’re just trying to prepare as much as possible and hope that we can do our job.. Everyone wants to have [the trophy] and everyone wants to achieve it. We will prepare as much as possible and do our best. “
He continued, “Every football player dreams of winning this title because it’s so beautiful. It’s something special. Sometimes you have to dream of things because dreams come true. “

Oleksandr Zinchenko also praised Chelsea and the work of new manager Thomas Tuchel when asked about the possibility of going up against fellow Premier League side in the European final.
“They are one of the best clubs in the world which is why they are there. They have a lot of quality players and they are organizing well defensively. They have a good manager who is doing well and it’s going to be a very interesting game.. “
