Man City have already made an offer for a Premier League star
A great development has taken place in the journalist Duncan’s Castles‘ latest Podcast on the transfer window. Castles were discussing the news that Tottenham Hotspur would appoint ex-Roma manager Paulo Fonseca as their new boss.
While discussing the finances around the move, Castles mentions that Fonseca is the ‘cheap’ option, but it’s a move where they’ll also have to free up funds for the new manager to bring in his own players.
One of the options on the table for Daniel Levy in this case is to sell his talisman, Harry Kane, who recently asked to leave the club in search of major trophies.
Manchester City have reportedly made the England captain their main target and Castles claims that an offer has already been made by the Etihad club.

There is no doubt that Pep Guardiola’s side are planning to pay a large sum for Harry Kane. Last season he won the Golden Boot and the Playmaker Award after scoring 23 goals and 14 assists in the Premier League.
But one thing hinted at, the 27-year-old has always been a major trophy, having failed in both the Champions League and Carabao Cup final more recently.
Castles also points out that Chelsea were interested in Kane, but that it would be very difficult to strike a deal with their rivals on the other side of town. Thus, opening the door to Manchester City to try to land their man.
