Manchester City set to sign £ 100million Jack Grealish and other transfer rumors
Manchester City are set to become Jack Grealish’s first English football player at £ 100million.
It is according to the Daily mail who claim the Blues have made Grealish their priority signing in midfield, reporting that City are set to make the Aston Villa star the most expensive England footballer this summer with a substantial £ 100million offer.
Should such a move for Grealish materialize, City would break the current UK transfer record of £ 80million for Harry Maguire, and the article claims Pep Guardiola is a big admirer of the midfielder while claiming the Catalan considers the playmaker as a priority signing.
Guardiola is said to want the 25-year-old to be at the heart of his new plans for the club’s evolution, although with Grealish’s lucrative contract expiring at Villa Park in 2025, Dean’s side are believed to be Smith would demand a British record fee to sanction an exit.

the Daily mail also reaffirm previous reports claiming Harry Kane was on City’s center-forward list this summer, but transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano went further, reporting that Etihad officials are ready to open talks with the star of Tottenham.
“Manchester City are convinced that Kane is the first target. So they want to try Kane,” Romano told the Here We Go Podcast.
“They intend to open talks in the next few weeks for Kane, but for now and the position with Tottenham, we have to respect Tottenham’s position, it’s still the same.
“Also in the last few hours Harry says ‘I want to leave the club’, obviously that’s the job in private. But from Tottenham the answer is still the same. They want to keep the player.”
