Mike Tomlin is known as a pretty serious guy, but he slacked off a bit after his team’s massive win in Week 18.
The Tomlin Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Baltimore Ravens in overtime on Sunday for their biggest win of the season. Coupled with a loss for the Indianapolis Colts to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Pittsburgh’s victory put them on the verge of snagging an unlikely playoff spot in the AFC.
After the game, Tomlin went viral for his dance moves in the Steelers locker room. Pittsburgh safety Marcus Allen was uploaded to Instagram after the win, and Tomlin looked like one of the guys as he pulled off a move.

The Steelers will formally qualify for the playoffs until the Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders, who face each other on Sunday night, do not finish their game tied. From what Chargers coach Brandon Staley said ahead of the game, it doesn’t look like a tie is very likely.
“We’re going to compete as a team to the best of our ability,” Coach Brandon Staley texted me.

Tomlin, who is in his 15th season as Pittsburgh coach, is sadly stoic. A few weeks ago, a Steelers player suggested the team create a more fun atmosphere, and Tomlin didn’t care. But with the Steelers on the cusp of the playoffs, even Tomlin can’t help but vibrate a little.
