Nick Saban on other trainers’ dance moves: ‘It’s not for me to judge’

Nearly 9 million people have seen Brian Kelly’s latest viral clip. Nick Saban is not one of them.

Both legendary head coaches had their dance moves called into question on Wednesday after Saban and Alabama secured three-star tight end Danny Lewis on National signing day.

Last month, Lewis was on a recruiting visit to Baton Rouge and recorded a TikTok of him and Brian Kelly in a recruiting video. The 6ft 4in Lewis wears a uniform as Kelly dances and swings behind him.

“I like to dance too,” Saban told a high-profile news conference after saying he hadn’t seen the video. “I love line dancing. Do the ‘Cupid Shuffle’ or whatever they call it and all that.

“…I usually do it at home, at our Saturday night recruiting parties. Some of them end up on YouTube. Everyone has their own way of doing what they do, whether it’s recruiting or their program. There are many ways to skin a cat and it’s not for me to judge.

Naturally, Twitter users flocked to find a video of Saban doing his best. Luckily for everyone, there’s a clip of Saban jumping on the R&B singer’s namesake Cupid.
