Simu Liu has often professed his love for the Toronto Raptors, but recently showed his support for the Blue Jays.
On Saturday, July 16, the Canadian celebrity took part in the MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game which also included Bad Bunny, JoJo Siwa, Quavos, Rob Lowe, Bryan Cranston and more.
Before the big game, Liu wore a stylish Jays jersey while promoting to show some love for the Canadian team.
“I’m not going to lie, I’m a little intimidated,” he said of the whole situation. “I hope, you know…let’s say a home run.”
He didn’t hit that home run, but JoJo Siwa scored one!
Additionally, Liu and the official Jays account co-posted photos on Instagram showing some moments from the game.
In the first carousel photo, Liu smiles in the distance while holding a bat, but if you want to see some sweet enough dance moves, you’ll want to scroll to the fourth item in the series.
There’s no sound in the video, but Liu is clearly feeling the moment as he shakes his hips from side to side while wearing a pitcher’s cap and Brooklyn jersey.
In the latest video, he hits the ball and appears to make it safely to first base where JoJo Siwa was waiting to score it.
“Accountant, actor, basketball player, baseball player, model…anything you can’t do? someone wrote in the comments.
In 2021, Liu impressed many when he appeared at a Giants-Dodgers game.
After throwing the opening throw, he launched into a backflip, which he landed effortlessly.
“I have to be one of the best first pitchers this year,” MLB says of the move.
Maybe an MLB job is in your future, Simu!
