Zimbabwe’s players were seen celebrating in their unique style as they broke into a special dance move shortly after beating Pakistan by 1 point at Perth’s Optus Stadium in the 2022 T20 World Cup. Zimbabwe punched above their weight and stunned Pakistan with a nail-biting T20 World Cup game on Thursday. Defending a modest 131, Zimbabwe stifled Pakistani batters and picked up wickets at regular intervals to stop their fanciful rivals at 129 for eight.
Zimbabwe beat Pakistan by one point, Twitter says ‘Not upset’
Pakistan needed three points on the last ball when Shaheen Shah Afridi took the strike. Although he hit the bowler hard, he was unable to complete the two runs needed for a tie. It means Zimbabwe picked up a famous victory and managed to clinch their first group encounter at this year’s T20 World Cup after a washout against South Africa saw them tie the points.

Pacer Richard Ngarava is revealed to be the lead singer and skipper Ervine also showed off his dancing skills in the video. Previously, the Pakistani batters could not be up to the task as they failed to pursue a modest 130 run target.
For the second time in the tournament, Pakistan’s star fly-half – skipper Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan – failed to get off to a good start. Babar looked hesitant before being squared off by a longer delivery from Evans.
A later, Rizwan played over the stumps a delivery from Muzarabani while trying to cut a ball, which was too close to his body. Iftikhar Ahmed, who scored a crisp fifty against India, didn’t last long either, leaving Pakistan reeling at 36 for three in 7.4 overs.
But Nawaz (22) kept Pakistan in the hunt with Wasim and brought the equation to 11 in the final over. Nawaz started by picking up three points, then smashed a slower delivery from Evans over his head for a max.
Evans bounced back brilliantly and fired Nawaz on the penultimate ball to bring the equation within three points of the final delivery.
